By car

From Amersfoort (A28) and Apeldoorn (A50) via the A28 towards Meppel/Groningen. Leave at junction 18, Zwolle-Zuid. At the roundabout, head for Hasselt (N331). At Hasselt, continue straight on towards Zwartsluis (N331). On entering Zwartsluis, Hotel Zwartewater is on the left-hand side, behind the marina.

From Groningen and Hoogeveen (A28) via the A28 towards Zwolle. Leave at junction 24, De Wijk. Head for Leeuwarden. At Meppel, take the road towards Leeuwarden (A32) and then the next junction number 3, Meppel-Noord. Head for Giethoorn and then Zwartsluis (N375/N334). In Zwartsluis, continue on to the T junction. Turn left towards Hasselt. Hotel Zwartewater is directly after the bridge on the right-hand side.

From Leeuwarden (A32) via the A32 towards Zwolle. Leave at junction 4, Havelte. Head for Meppel and then Zwartsluis (N375/N334). In Zwartsluis, continue on to the T junction. Turn left towards Hasselt. Hotel Zwartewater is directly after the bridge on the right-hand side.
